Three major themes dominate our TMT predictions for 2020. First, individual technologies are becoming ever more connected and interdependent, and their impact and value are increasing as a result. Second, just five ecosystems—smartphones, computers, TVs, enterprise data centers and software, and the Internet of Things—account for most of the TMT industry’s revenue. And third, many services and products that have been “just around the corner” for years are finally hitting their stride.
